Delete your Astro Guru account

Astro Guru is the Android app from Astrovaani. This page explains how to ask us to delete the Astro Guru account tied to your mobile number, and what we delete or keep.

Request deletion

1. Email support@astrovaani.co.in with the subject “Delete my Astro Guru account”.
2. In the email, write the mobile number you use to sign in to Astro Guru.
3. Ask us to delete that account.

You can also delete the account inside Astro Guru: open Profile and tap Delete Account. An email to support@astrovaani.co.in is enough on its own.

We delete the account within 7 days and reply to the same email when it is done. If a UPI AutoPay mandate is still active, cancel it in your UPI app as well so the bank does not take a later renewal.

Data we delete

• The phone number and name on the account, so it can no longer be used to sign in.
• Birth details used for the kundli.
• Chat messages with Vaani.
• Talk-time balance.
• Notification tokens and login codes.
• Profile photo stored on the device is removed when you delete the app.

Data we keep

• Payment, subscription, and UPI AutoPay records, such as the amount, date, and order reference. The phone number is removed from the account. We keep these records for up to 8 years for tax, fraud checks, and payment disputes, then delete them.
• Call session details, meaning the date, duration, and status of a call. The phone number is removed. We keep these for up to 180 days to resolve billing questions, then delete them. Call audio is not stored after the call ends.
